This tank support serves to hold an ATL FT3 (100 liter / 26 GAL.) tank.
The pad should prevent the tank from slipping and stabilizing it at its position.
It is used for additional fixation to counteract slipping by the inertial mass.
In addition, it seals against dirt and spray from below.
